The Sub-Secretariat of Migration, Population and Religious Issues of the Government Secretary, Mercedes del Carmen Guillen Vicente, confirmed that under the 5-year government of Barack Obama, two million Mexican have been repatriated, considering it a serious problem.

“The Mexican migration to the United States is clearly going down,” said Guillen Vicente.

She rejected that in Mexico there would be a shut down on the south border to stop the crossing of Central Americans. “There is no way that we will build fences, we are going to guarantee the immigrants human rights.”

She confirmed that around 57 thousand children from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador are being hold in the United States, facing a legal order, keeping them from being repatriated quickly.

The civil servant appeared on the collective weeding next to the governor Javier Duarte, in the World Trade Center. After that, she went to the opening of the national reunion of the Civil Registry’s servants.
